I also met several solo women RVers who are members of the Solos BOF (Birds of a Feather) group in Escapees. We are blessed to be full-timers who live and travel when and where we want. How many of you out there in cyberspace are full-timing solo or want to?
As you can see from the picture, we were having a bit of a good time. The Fall Escapade will be in Goshen, Indiana September 9-14 and I hope to be there delivering another seminar on Saving Space and Weight, as well as a class on Basic Self-Protection for women RVers. If you live in the area and have time to attend, I'd like to meet you.
You are my hero. I read all you postings. I want to be a full timer someday. I have a Class C Jamboree.
ReplyDeleteMy DH has been very sick...so I've been grounded. I hope to visit Women RVer's this summer at their gatherings near my home in PA. I can't get away for very long. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I read all your postings and books. You are a very interesting person. I read in a recent posting that you have a PhD in 18th Century British Lit and a Master's in Rhetoric and Composition. Must by why your so interesting to read about. Reading the Blogs and RV sites keeps me involved
Took your advise and joined RVing Women. Just received my packet. I found that there are several women in my general area that belong. will contact them to get acquainted. Thanks for your advise.
ReplyDeleteI am a single woman nearing retirement. I would love to go RVing and see some of this country, but don't want to go alone. Is there a group of single women who take trips to various spots together?

I was delighted to find this organization listed in my website. Thanks for coming by to visit. I have been a solo RVer (mostly full-time but not anymore) for so long I don't even think about it. I just get out there and LOVE it.
