Life on Wheels Reminder

Next month, March 18-21, Life on Wheels will have the first of five gatherings in Tucson, Arizona at the downtown campus of Pima Community College. I'm very proud to say I will be part of that fine organization and am teaching four classes: "Convection Oven Cooking," "Basic Self-Protection," "Saving Space and Weight in Your RV," and "2008 Campground & RV Park Discount & Membership Systems."

Whether you're a wannabe RVer, new RVer or seasoned RVer, there are classes for everyone. Please check out There is still time to register.

If you can't make it to Tucson, you might try one of the other locations: Bowling Green, Kentucky; Ankeny (Des Moines), Iowa; Lewiston, Idaho; or Harrisburg, Penn. Following the completion of the classes in Harrisburg is a large RV show and admission is included.

I hope to meet some of you!

  1. Hi Adrienne,

As an RV enthusiast and about-to-be-retired baby boomer I am interested in all things related to RVing. Your tips are great and I would love to know more about convection oven cooking. I won't be able to attend the show in Tucson (even though I live in Arizona). Do you plan on posting any of the class instruction on your blog?

  2. Actually Dick, all the information I'll be providing comes directly from my book. I'll be baking something tasty (probably my Chili con Corny) in the convection oven while I discuss the differences between a microwave and convection oven, a simple formula to use when converting existing recipes, etc. Then we'll eat and I'll have a gift for everyone as well as a discount for those who want to purchase the CD.
